Yes, of course it’s a model. If you tested it, we wouldn’t have a breathable atmosphere. Everything is modeling.The IPCC is virtually all models, and serves as the globally recognized scientific basis for climate change. Also, every revision of the IPCC predicts more warming, happening sooner. Also, it isn’t just a matter of warming, it’s a combination of warming and acidification. Once the phytoplankton is gone, so are we. We are already witnessing the collapse of global fisheries, the bleaching of coral, and I’m not sure what you’re trying to say with prehistoric CO2 levels. Yes, they were higher; humans weren’t alive then. Colonizing space is great, but is never going to happen in the next 80 years.
